Click on Demand Based Staffing Detail to enter Minimum and Maximum staff needed per customer

  1. Use Forecasted Demand to set Staffing Levels

If your customer volume varies over the course of the week or month it may be easier to use our Forecasted Demand feature (instead of building multiple calendar events) where you tell Cooperation how many customers are expected on a given day and how many customers one employee can serve. Cooperation will then automatically build the calendar events for you. If your projected volume changes, you simply change the entry in Cooperation and the software automatically accounts for the change.

To use Forecasted Demand, click on under Use Forecasted Demand To Set Staffing Levels and select YES from the drop down.** The forecast feature will not be available unless the feature is turned on here in Settings.

See Using Forecasted Demand to Set Staffing Levels for more information about this feature.

  2. Click on Demand Based Staffing Detail to enter Minimum and Maximum staff needed per customer.

To use the Demand Based Staffing feature you must

    • set the Use Forecasted Demand To Set Staffing Levels field on the Settings to YES.
    • create an Activity Calendar detailing the shifts for this activity - one event per shift regardless of the number of employees

Forecasted Demand will help you avoid over and under staffing with a lot less work than any manual way of figuring it out and save you money as well. If you work in a regulated environment it will also ensure you meet whatever minimum standards exist for your industry. You must enter this information on each activity profile record.
