Set up the requirements for demand based staffing for a role

This form will only be visible if Demand Based Staffing has been turned ON on the Company Settings page. On Demand Based Staffing Details you specify how many customers each Employee can be expected to handle successfully for this role. Here is an example from our Nursing Home Demo.

You may have some roles where the staffing need fluctuates with the customer volume and other roles where the staffing needs are constant. For the roles where the staffing numbers are constant, set the minimum and maximum numbers per customer at the number of staff you actually need there. No matter how many customers are expected, the staff for those activities will be correct.

1. Enter minimum and maximum staff needed for specified number of customers
   • For activities that fluctuate, set the minimum and maximum appropriately for the number of customers.
   • If you set the minimum and maximum to the same number, that number of employees will be scheduled for this activity regardless of the fluctuation in customer volume. This may be appropriate for some positions.
